I stand corrected, Krutrim can’t be using OpenAI’s API

I can understand that there can be some factual errors made by AI, but distortion of that level is unprecedented. I would let the pictures do the talking. PS - I know it’s just beta phase and errors would be ironed out but this just makes me lose trust on the platform already. Somehow, realized can’t upload more than one image, would try appending in the post.

What is happening with Krutrim? Can anyone from Ola confirm that is it just a wrapper over GPT or a legit ai model? The responses to answers are just terrible. It does not look like a beta product.

Last month, Krutrim AI had attained unicorn status for being the first indigenous LLM AI model of India. There was some hue and cry when it had distorted some historical concept of India. Today, the beta version was launched and upon pondering, it stated that it’s based of OpenAI’s LLM model…so they spent all this money & resources just a build a wrapper service. Frankly, this is just another scam & would lose credibility in a blink of an eye. Why do Indians lack innovation & just believe in simple copy pasting. Views are welcome.

Any views on this, bhavish promises it not just some fine tuned training model but built from scratch, but they came up with this just three month. Krutrim claims to be good with training on Indian languages Note- Their ai forgot to mention the put sign up page in description, can someone help by sharing the sign up link. Why are we so negative about it? Does it stand a chance to do something amazing with local languages? How can it win in its own sub-market better than OpenAI or Antropic?

Is Kalaido.ai legit? Or is this another one fine-tuned using OpenAI models or wrapped around them? The demo looks good tbh
