ITR for freelancing gig

Just want to get inputs from those who freelance along with being salaried. I am wondering how people do ITR filing when they’re directly receiving payment from their clients abroad (inward remittance) on their own name (no company created for offering ur service) as well as have their monthly salary ? As much as I’ve read you would be filing ITR-4 but then wouldn’t this reveal to ur current or next employer that u worked 2 places? Really curious to know as it’s ITR filing time.

Hi, I have a proper full time job. I freelanced for a month last year. They got my PAN and whenever they paid me in my bank account, total amount is ~1.4L, they deducted TDS under 194C (it's 1% TDS). This freelancing income is listed in my AIS as Business receipts - Receipts from contract (Section 194C). The amount was paid from an entity 'XYZ private limited' even though I worked for an individual..My questions are 1) Which ITR form to use? 2) I tried filling ITR1 form. It's not showing my freelancing income in 'Gross Total Income' section. But the TDS deducted by them is shown under 'Taxes Paid' section. I am confused whether I have to add this 1.4L rupees in as Other sources of income in 'Gross Total Income' section or not. Should I? I am confused because it's showing in AIS but not in ITR form. Could you please help?

Hello finance experts, I am filing itr for first time actually I Have got money credited from two places one tds comes under section 192 which is my salary account and other from where I did intern which is 194JA which is related to professional or technical services provided now ? Help me choosing which itr 1,2,3,4? And where should I add the other amount the salary amount is automatically comming under gross salary and I don't have form 16 for intern stipend although I can see that under my ais/tis and form 26as ?

I currently freelance but I've also got a full time job offer. Can i continue taking freelance income in my salary account or should I avoid taking freelance income under my PAN and get that in maybe my parents account?

Hi, experts I was filing itr, so needed help, I started my job from May 2022, but before that I did an internship where I got salary credited to my account , it was around 1500 for one month (March) for this assessment year and also they did deduct a tds of around 300 rupees which I can see on my itr home page . So should I include those amount in my gross income while filing tds ( I have only included my current gross salary) ?

I received my internship (that I did in my final year) stipend in July with 10℅ tds deduction under 194JB that is mentioned I Later same year I joined other other company full time and received regular salary and received another form 16. Now I'm confused which itr to file and how to proceed.

Can my employer find out if I started freelancing in upwork? Upwork asks for pan details. So by any chance my employer can find out from the income tax portal or something?

I have got an individual contract offered by a company based out of Chicago. I want to know how this model works. 1. Do I need to enable or inform my bank about the foreign payment coming in ? 2. Do I need to pay any income tax on this amount whole or if there is any slab after which I need to pay ? 3. How do I declare this amount in my ITR ? Thank you.

Hi community, really love the support I get from folks here. Thanks a lot. Here is another thing I need some opinions on. I did an internship last year and there was some TDS deducted. That was my only source of main income. I checked the Form26AS and yes it was present along with some TDS on my MF investment and all. Now this is my first time filing ITR, how should I go approach? Get a CA? If yes, how to contact one? How much do they usually charge? File by myself? Or any tips you have would be really appreciated. You can also share your experience. Thank you 😊.
