tinder for flat and flatmates, owner put out houses, if you both like each other's profiles then you meet and finalize the house.
If I was a flat owner, I wouldn’t care what other person looks like OR has an aura OR blah blah blah until he signs the deed and gets me rent on every 1st.
I don’t have to like my tenant 🧟♂️

Do owners have time for this? the supply demand is so reckless even worse than tinder for flat rental, and folks are used to living in shared flats like how it's done via flat n flatmates

my opinion is it would be another place or app to check for options available but at the end in cities like Bengaluru most of the owners are preferring tenants from brought by brokers only.

Bhai ab tere comprehension skills kharab hai toh mai kya karu? I said people don't like paying, didn't say they don't end up paying it. Kuch build karte hai toh current alternatives dekhte hai - how are people finding flatmates today? Either via personal referrals or social media (could be FB groups, twitter amplification, instagram stories, etc) which tells you one thing - its all free. The value they derive today via free channels is enough for them. Anything extra like - 'find your soulflatmate' via a Tinder like product but pay for it isn't needed, the market is pretty small to wait years before you can monetize it.
How much are you guessing the TAM would be?
A product like this would eventually become a listings marketplace to generate money and ends up becoming another Housing or 99Acres which it would never be able to beat so.

It's going to be infested with broker accounts with fake dp ...think how those can be addressed by design (they'll find a loop hole in any kind of software induced filter) then you might have a sensible product.

Is it something similar to no broker, but front end is changed to tinder alike.
But one feature can be integrated, that all the owners can see who ever is interested instead of each and everyone, and match with only those whom he likes too.
Oh! And BTW, if you’re really fancying building this, make sure the flat owners get to see tenents credit score.
