If I have a startup idea as a student, how to proceed into development.

Want to build a AI startup. Finding it impossible as 1) Incumbents with distribution and data will easily build AI to their products 2) I don’t have PhD to build something truly innovative. 3) For consumer space, I don’t think it’s possible to build a new device or a OS etc (Incumbents again!) I seriously wonder how startup founders start something! Do they just BS VCs about nice ideas and raise money? Any tips *from actual founders* will be useful

How do I start 1. To check if it's viable 2. It's in B2C space and can be extended to B2B also ( but lots of competition in B2B but not B2C due to independent small firms) 3. I am from tech background so I can handle that but the idea need operations and few domain experts 4. I will have to leave my current job since I am working in a startup, all 6 days 10+ hours. How much run away should I be sure of, before jumping full time into it.

I am 34, BU Head at mid size startup, 1Cr+ CTC and 3Cr ESOP. Tier 1 MBA+Engg. Still 5yrs away from financial freedom. Startup founders who have taken similar jump what would say? Was it worth it? If yes, any tips on finding start up ideas.

I am 3 years into my career and I have deep passion for Software engineering. I genuinely like it. I want to become a better engineer by going deep. But since the time of my internships in college, I have always been fascinated by startups and want to have one of my own. Now I have an idea(again very passionate about) and I’m working on it but my dilemma is that if I run a startup, it’s going to take me away from my other interest of engineering. Any thoughts?

We have an idea but, we worry that did really fit in market or not. And how would I find actual problem that my target user facing.

Let's say you want to start a start up like a scalar academy. How would you go about it? Will you do marketing first to bring in customers or register as a company? Start hiring people or spend on ads? Just curious to know how people start up, and what's their first step. Please share your insights, it might help someone start later on. Thanks for the input

I myself work for a game dev company from 5years. After gaining experience I finally started working on creating my game, in the beginning it was just 2 man work. over time I needed to make the team bigger and within 2 months it became an ambitious project. I now have 12 employees(most of them are my friends hence I am not having to pay a lot) For some of them , it's full time , and for rest it's their 2nd job. I pay directly from my savings account. Dunno why, I registered for Pvt Ltd on my parents name(I can't register on my name since I already work somewhere else)and soon getting it registered as a startup. Since I am compleyely unaware of all these things, What to avoid in the beginning? I am about to get a CA Also I am planning not to add employees under the name of the company for now until the game is released Additionally, What benifits(general/easy) can I get for being startup ? I am also planning to sign up for AWS/GCLOUD startup program so that server cost can be reduced. Any more info that I should be aware of?

I've a great idea and it's validated after talking to more than 50 founders/head of sales. Questions - 1. What's the process of getting a domain/and checking if the domain/product name is not a brand name globally anywhere? 2. Wrt raising funding, any founders here who can throw some light on how much salaries you used to take? I am not very inclined towards bootstrapping rn. 3. I know there are lot of startups who will provide help with marketing, accounting, legal, web development, sales but what I'm looking for platform which can provide me all the resources along with mentor/guide who will guide throughout the process What I will bring to table- small capital say<10L, time resource over the weekend, problem solving mindset What I want from the startup- experiment with different ideas and come up with the one which will be best suited for my personality/profession/background, for example if I'm from Jaipur highly likely I would like to start something there, I might not be available physically.
