If you start buying stocks, does your name get registered in some public govt database?
I just signed up on INDmoney to buy stocks a while ago. Never traded stocks personally before. Ever since I did, I'm getting constantly spammed by trading fraud numbers and on email as well. Is INDmoney selling user database? Or is it the Indian govt at fault?
Bhai, stock buying doesn't make you a public figure. INDmoney or government, blaming won't help. Just be smart, ignore the spam. "Nazar hati, durghatna ghati."

I'm asking because if you register a business as a director, your info becomes public on the MCA database, leads to a lot of spam. And this recent spam on sms/calls is trading specific, didn't get anything like that before.
I thought maybe investor list is also public somewhere somehow.
Seems more likely that it's INDmoney selling user data, but idk.

There is a small chance it's a coincidence but i honestly think it's unlikely.
My concern is more about privacy than entertaining scammers.
