1. Download this repo as a ZIP file from GitHub.
2. Unzip the file and you should have a folder named bypass-paywalls-chrome-master.
3. In Chrome/Edge go to the extensions page (chrome://extensions or edge://extensions).
4. Enable Developer Mode.
5. Drag the bypass-paywalls-chrome-master folder anywhere on the page to import it (do not delete the folder afterwards).

Which browser have you been using lately?

A friend built this extension, sharing on their behalf 

Description: This extension automatically mutes the volume when ads appear during IPL matches. Also it puts a dark layover over the video player when the ads are playing. You can disable the layover from the extension popup if you don't want it to appear. Please refresh the JioCinema page, after adding/enabling the extension.


Because of some technical issues it isn't deployed it to the chrome web store. Until that's sorted out, there is an alternate way to add the extension to browser:

1. Download the zip file from this link: https://github.com/sivunq/mute-jiocinema-IPL-ads/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

2. Unzip the downloaded file.

3. Open the extensions page in chrome browser (chrome://extensions/). Enable developer mode (a toggle button on top right side) in the same page. Drag and drop the unzipped folder in the extensions page. Disable the developer mode.

4. Refresh the JioCinema page if it was already opened.

They are being smart now and backing out early so that later they can wash off their hands form being one of the primary players to have destroyed the startup ecosystem. The OG falcon had at least little bit of honesty, business savvyness and heart. From the time it became alpha wave and some terrible incompetent people took up important roles, it has been a downhill.  
  
 Someone from alpha -  be the whistleblower. But unlikely there would be anyone who has the guts to speak up. Their leaders have ensured to hire only weak yes-people.
