What you should do, start a sip into an index fund. Slowly learn about different aspects of the market. 

But upskill yourself to earn a lot more. Spend your time learning a new skill, figuring out how to grow in your career. 

Investing 5k in a stock tip will not make you rich. It will only make you dissatisfied and regret not investing more. It’s only going to get you demotivated. 

Just stfu, index whatever money you have, save yourself a lot of time and invest that time in learning and experiences.

27YO. I have been investigating for the past 1 year ...every month 5k in stocks, 2k for hdfc, 3k for Infosys..Current portfolio of 87k..6k in profit....will expand when salary increases after switching..share your portfolio .

Hi All, I need advice on how to invest my savings, don't have much to save but can save 3-5k a month, what will be the best option to invest the amount regularly. Kindly suggest.

I have been investing for almost 2 years now and have successfully saved >₹10L.
50% is in straight up equity, 25% in MF (equity) and 15% is in gold (bonds and tablets) and the rest is Liquid Cash.

I don't know the way forward now, do I keep doing the same thing? Do I diversify? I have also started to invest in US Markets.

- 10 Lac in FD

Hi, I am 25 years old and I live in Bangalore. I make around 1.35L pm and I’m struggling to understand how much to save or invest in a month. I understand the 50 / 30 / 20 rule but feel like using 50% of my income on needs is a lot. 

I also do not understand if I should have a different pot for savings (liquid) and investments or if I should be putting aside all my extra money on investments. Also how much is a decent amount to spend on rent + food + lifestyle etc. 

I like living open heartedly but also feel immensely guilty after splurging too much.

Hey folks, I've landed a new role (with a decent raise over my previous earnings)

It's a permanent WFH role, so I'll be moving back to my hometown (tier 1 city) to help my parents for retirement.

Age: 25.
YOE: 3

I currently have somehow saved up ~4L.
The breakdown is as follows.

Index fund: 2.47L
Savings: 12k (had to take out a bunch for some family emergency during my notice period 🫠)
FD: 1.4L (to help with my brother's education)

My monthly in hand at the new org will be around ~80k

I know my initial goals will be to increase my savings, get health insurance for myself (and potentially life insurance)

Other than that, my expenses for each month will vary based on the set up costs required to help in my parents' retirement.

I'm guessing 40-50k a month will be going towards this set up cost, but only for a few months. 

But I'm going to equally start saving up and getting a health insurance myself. 

My main challenge comes on what to do after that. How much do you think i should save per month?
How much should go into investments?

Etc etc.

Hi, I have recently graduated and now I'm going to start my career as a software developer. Can you suggest me with resources  for managing finances along with taxes and how to do investments or guide me how I can manage my expenses by giving some tips?
 
My base is around 14Lpa. 
My rent is around 25kpm. And monthly necessary expenditure of around 15kpm.
I am not that well-versed with taxes also. I'm learning about them. Currently I invest 3k in MF every month.
I would like to your suggestions and advises for the same.
