Indian IT companies are Scaming IT Indian Talents!!!

When will the job market improve at start ups in India? What factors will drive the improvement? Job market = availability of jobs, better salaries, minimal layoffs

1. Hire engineers in the 4th semester from tier 2 colleges. 2. Train them for 6 months in software development by inducing a full time position with an attractive salary once after a full time conversation. Training is Most probably self learning . 3. Pay peanuts during training time as low as 5000 rs per month. Till he completes the college degree i e 15 months after employment. 4. after 6 months of training search leads by inflating the experience of their profile in Indian software companies. And bill them with 50x of what they are getting as a stipend. 5. Earn fat and easy once the person graduates the college lays them off stating the economic situation . 6. Then repeat the same process again with another set of college students. 7. Now laid off graduates are in a position where they can't even show the experience which they gained during their work since it is not done in a full time role. No experience certificate from the employer. 8. Then goes back to a job search as a fresher

I have done a 6M internship at Amazon but Amazon didn't convert any single 6M intern to full time employee even got a hire call from the manager. But Amazon has given the ppo to 2024 grad. Now Companies has started hiring only 2024 grad. No one giving the shit about my internship. Companies/startups are not considering that as experience, then why they are hiring intern? I applied to many companies even with referrals but none of them sent me a single test link. Big tech giants are done hiring with 2023 grads. Some are hiring but only to female candidates. Indian startups are the worst. they just wanted a guy who has all the knowledge according to their business model, doesn't matter how skilled you are. Anyone can learn new things in small period of time but Indian startups... I don't know what they are thinking. In such things mnc is good atleast they are not doing such shitty things to fresher. If I have done 6M internship at Amazon and got the hiring decision from manager, this doesn't imply that I have capabilities to work as a Developer? If anyone is able to deliver tasks in a company like Amazon where almost everything is new on which an intern is about to work then I don't think he will not be able to work in any other organisation.

The most cringe Q&A i have ever seen! Top tier investors and founders asking such dumb non relevant questions. We can defend as much as we want, but we Indians do have an inferiority complex when we interact with foreigners - in the end he called you hopeless, right?

It has almost been 18 months since I have joined TCS. I was on the bench for a total of 5 months in the beginning, and finally got a project. I went to the office and my manager told me that it would take few days for document verification and security clearance. I was coming to the office daily but had nothing to do. I was getting anxious since I was just watching Youtube videos for almost a month. I wanted WFH but when I asked they said I had to come to office even if I had no work. Finally, I got a KT from someone working on the project. I came to realise that I was doing work that even a 9th class student can do. The problem? 5 people were doing this work. The problem? I was working 30 minutes a day. I had to come early to the office, login using my seniors login creds and do timepass work. I have to send an email to our point of contact at the client side that the work is done at the end of the day. I have learnt nothing here. I feel that these companies are just too inefficient. I am planning to leave ASAP now. I have learnt nothing and I am scared that I will not find another job because I have the Years of Experience but no skills. This is how IT companies destroy your career. Now I am doing DSA to get into another company.
