I'm a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and a tech geek - looking for a career switch. Currently located in NCR region - working for one of the top Indian Unicorns, making 1.2Cr+ every year in salary+stocks. Leaning more towards getting a remote job and get decent WLB. Please let me know if there are really good teams doing ground breaking work OR solving for one of a kind scale challenge at their company in SRE Domain - I'd like to join.

PS: Is there a community within grapevine where SREs hang out? I happen to see very less SRE specific posts in general. Ex: I'd want to know how's SRE at say - Disney, Akamai, CRED, PhonePe, Swiggy, Zomato, Google, Rippling, etc - but couldn't find any good hits.

Hi all, good morning. I'm looking to switch as a 
DevOps Engineer with 2 YOE. Have applied but not getting responses. I have few questions in mind which I need some information on. Also, if any openings you know of, do let me know.

1. For salary expectations, I am keeping as 8-9 LPA. I currently earn 4.8 LPA. Is it fine to keep it as it is or should I mention as looking for significant growth?

2. Visa sponsorship - I have been keeping it as Yes. Should I keep as No for better chances of selection?

I have experience on Jenkins, AWS ,docker, kubernetes and terraform (beginner and self study) , kibana, Prometheus, splunk , bash scripting and networking fundamentals. 

Please do share any points if you feel I should include as part of switching process.

Quite a lot of employers are posting online claiming to be hiring, but candidates seem to be not getting any response after sending email/DM to that HR who posted. 
  
 I myself have applied to an entry level opening at a very well known and establish vehicles related product company. Literally entry level role with 6 months to 1.5yr YoE (I have 1YoE), yet I've not got any response. And they keep reposting the same opening over and over and over, to the point where I feel they are actually not hiring, but just updating their hiring work quotas as they were lazy AF HRs all through the FY23-24.
