Well, yes, but actually no.
Seems too excessive for early stage founders who are pitching in the tank, they should be taking in minimum salaries to contribute most to growth — Investors would like their money spent in the company, not paying salaries!
Usually founders will only start to take higher salaries after startups have reached certain quotas (e.g. Series A, etc.). And these salaries also need to be approved but the board (who the people wanting to invest in seed stage might be part of)
Yahi soch toh badalni hai, its better to draw heavy salary than to dupe your own company for making money like Ashneer grover and many other founders did. Rahul yadav, we work founder, etc...

none of these sharks have any right to question this. Are they running a profitable company? only 2 sharks have a profitable company. 1 shark is pappa ki pari, 1 is a one game wonder, 1 shark is running a profitable company , but its a Chinese product sold in India type trading company. 1 runs a company that has very poor partner perception,.2 sharks running the profitable company do deserve respect. they have earned.
This guy will get shocked over everything. His negotiation is very simple, what ever % the founder offer, double it. for S3, ask royalty for everything,
Post-raising funds, I've heard about many founders taking INR 5L to 10L per month.
His company Shadi dot com does not pay even GST so for his it’s a huge money 😂
