Just got 1k grapes, but what about them ? Am I competing against someone (while everyone is anonymous here) or am I collecting them to use as some currency ? Or Its just like Cred coins 😀

No, not cred. You just have to collect them until gv team figures the use of it. It is being said the grapes are being used to give early access to apps new features.
