What according to you could be considered a good salary for an IT employee with 6 YOE?

There are some folks around me making 30-36 with 3-4 yrs of experience so wanna confirm if I’m not doing well somewhere, as I have some family responsibilities to cover I’m looking from that perspective also.

You are doing really very well. This is almost the highest one could achieve with your experience.

Hey the company makes both hardware and software. 
 My role is a Senior Software Engineer, it involves things on low level like C, C++ and also some cloud computing things. 
  
 Basically juggling between both layers of technologies

 For 6 years you can make (12lac to 6cr)

You can only compare on the basis of company.

It's a godly amount of pay for 6 YOE. Please share your techstack and interview experience with the community !

Salary is towards the higher end. I just hope it is a secure job. The role should prepare you for the next step in your career. It's always about the long term. Otherwise there are lots of hire and fire kind of jobs which make you very happy initially but you get nothing out of it in the long run
