Is it good idea to put freelancing work on LinkedIn
I do freelancing/contract work while working full time in a company. Is it good idea to mention those works in LinkedIn profile, specially considering it may bring more freelance work if anyone sees it or not?
It will definitely bring in more work, but is your current company open to you moonlighting while being employed with them? Be careful to not end up losing your stable job while chasing a few extra bucks
Yes, that's the problem. My company is cool with moonlighting. But if I want to switch to another full time role, that company may not like it and may think I'll do the same while working in their company.
Too early to think so much in the future - don’t worry about all this, in my view

Really depends on company policy. If they are fine with moonlighting, go ahead and put it up, chances are your company won’t even notice.

I was contacted by a person for freelance work on linkedin, but I was stupid enough not to pay attention and later that person presented their work in a big conference and now runs a cyber security company. However their need was for an android app but I specialize in backend development.
