Is it right time to move to Canada for education/work?

Been working at my current org for almost 2 years now. It’s a dead end job, my growth has been stagnant for almost 6 months now. Wanted to switch but companies I interviewed at put their hiring on hold. So decided to move to Canada since I always wanted to move there for atleast some part of my life. Got an offer letter from a college in Vancouver in PGDip in Web and mobile app dev. But the situation in canada has been bad due to the ongoing recession. People asking my parents “why does he want to move? There are no jobs.” My friends in Canada been supporting me saying there ARE jobs and economy will bounce back in 2 years time when my course ends. I’m having second thoughts. I can’t take a lot of time either since I am already late in the immigration process.

my_qualification: B.Tech IT from tier-3 college. 70% I am 24 years old. I graduated in 2021 and had total 13 backlogs during UG and it took me 5 years to complete my degree. I am unemployed since my graduation and have been wasting my time on learning random things or multiple technologies at a same time. 2 months ago I decided to go to Canada for masters and my family supported me, my friend suggested me MS Data Science because he is Data Scientist in Canada. So, I gave IELTS in March and scored 7 band. Recently I had a talk with an Agency named Canam. And they suggested me to get Experience Letter + offer letter + LOR from employer + last 6 months payslip also Backlog Certificate from college but I don't have any of these things. What should I do in this situation? How should I move forward? How can I get my life on track? I'm just confused and not sure what should I do.

I am planning for Canada PR and try for jobs at Canada from India. Is it a wise decision right now?

Given the current geo-political environment and Indo-Canadian relations..is doing a master's in Comp Sci a good option anymore.

Everything okay in Canada?

Is it a good place to move to? The job opportunities seem bleak. Are there any good job search engines I can check?

PS: Negative people who want to undermine can ignore the post, no offence :) So I am moving to Canada next week on a study visa, with mainly aiming to work in my field eventually (Software Developer). Any tips and suggestions for me? My short term goal is to finish my studies by the end of next year and get a full time job as a developer. Thanks x

Hi folks, I have a potential offer from a Toronto based startup, but the thing is that it is on-site role. The startup is really well known in the domain. I'm currently earning 20LPA, remote role, living in my hometown. That role might get me 80-100k USD. So now I have few doubts: 1. Visa process and all 2. Living expenses and quality of life 3 Situation in Canada (I've heard it's fucked up) Any sort of relevant information would be really helpful. Thanks!
