IMO, no. Not worth it.
I have used windows and Linux for most of my life. My latest company gave me a Mac.
Here's my conclusion.
1. Build quality of Mac's is generally better.
2. Sound and such things are better on a Mac.
In general nicer.
However, it's completely false to believe software or general experience on a Mac is better than windows. Not sure what kind of windows laptop the person claiming that loading up a browser will take longer on a windows lap than restarting a Mac, but this is pure bs. The latest MacBook Pro takes just as much time to load up chrome as my 4 yo windows laptop. Matter of fact, the UX in certain aspects is worse on Mac. I don't even get proper feedback when you double click an icon. Last, multi-tasking UX is very very shitty on Mac.
I haven't bought into the ecosystem but without considering that, I don't see the point of spending 3x for build quality and sound.

the reason i want to buy mac is because of both cross-platform and native development for mobile

If that's a deal breaker, you don't have much of a choice. The closest of a choice you have is to go the hackintosh route and buy a laptop known to have good compatibility with it.

Go for it. Macbook Pro is the best laptop. Dont think about the cost, Apple products are made to last. Windows laptops with same configuration may cost 1/3 but over the years they will become super slow where opening a webpage will take longer than restarting your mac.

13" pro is the old body, worse display; better opt for the 15" air or 14" pro

No I am a student in college.
My old laptop is not longer working and the specs of old laptop was very low.
I am thinking to buy a new laptop with good specs Mac would be a good choice for both Android and iOS development and other development purpose

Go for a 14 inch m2 pro with the same ram and storage configuration, it will cost you 30k more but it wouldn't be significantly better than this old design.

You mean same model but with different inch?

It *would* be significantly better. M2 pro is a much better chip than the baseline chip. Also 14 inches one has a good build. You should have purchased this laptop during the BBD sale, now make sure you use your student discount and HDFC card or some good credit card to get the right deal. I used a 13 inch m1 air which is strictly for very light computing, currently i use a 16 inch m2 pro with 32 gb ram it is a very good device. My colleague's 14 inch m2 pro is just as good so i suggest you go for the 14 inch.

Have you checked out sahivalue.com ?
Used, unboxed, like new etc stuff
I’ve picked up an iPad, AirPods and the magic keyboard from them have been using all these devices for over 2-3 years now! Very reliable and true to what pictures you see on their website.
Look for what the item condition is, I’ve picked up sealed, like new conditions and they are as described!
The iPad I bought was factory sealed brand new, only box had scuffs here n there, iPad was factory mint! For a good deal under 70k for a 12.9 pro
Check them out, quite good deals on a little older machines..
Not worth for this price. There is very little difference between M1 Macbook Air and M1 Macbook Pro. I bought M1 Macbook Air with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage for 59k during sale. Would recommend you to go for the base variant of air and buy external SSD if you need.

Better go for 14 inch MacBook M2 Pro or 14 inch MacBook M1 Pro (this is tough to find in the market), both come with a base variant configuration of 16|512, also the 16 inch MacBook M1 Pro is available for a great deal but that's too powerful

Don't buy the 13 pro. It has the old display and body.
Don't buy this version, either find the 2021 14in MacBook Pro or get the 2022 13in M2 MacBook Air.
Look for offers you'll get M2 air under 90k now
