I am a java full stack developer with 2+ yoe. Have built projects in MERN as well. I've been trying to switch and started applying 2 months back in hopes of at least getting  some interviews, but it looks like it's becoming a task nowadays. My mail is full of rejections for most of the applications I've submitted on naukri and LinkedIn.

So, now till this date I had just got one interview for PWC. 

Is it the same for everyone? Or am I doing something wrong here?

How to get an interview call?

Hey everyone,
I’m currently looking for a job switch as currently my position in the organisation is not quite good to stay. So I have to join somewhere asap.
I’m actively applying and looking for new job   Role as front end developer. I’m trying to apply actively on Naukri and LinkedIn .
Plus also applied through referrals in few companies.
But I don’t know why I am not getting any calls for the interview.
I have 1.9 months of experience with infosys plus 6 months internship in Cognizant.
I’m quite worried now as I’m not receiving any calls, is there something I’m doing wrong.
Please anyone can help me by suggesting something which can lend me calls for interview.
Can analyse my resume and see if it’s correctly aligned or not?
Or normally things like this take more time than this, I’m being impatient?

I am applying for PM opportunities and using LinkedIn, what not to get shortlisted for resume and get an interview call.
Earlier I used to get many calls from recruiters via Naukari or other websites but now it's like no calls.

Is it like I need to scale up myself or all of us are in the same place.

What's your case in Landing job right now.

I have 8+ years of experience as a Java backend developer and looking for opportunities. Getting hardly any interview call. 
Are you guys getting interview calls ? Which all portal apart from Linkedin and Naukri we can use to search for jobs ?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to switch jobs for a better pay as my current CTC is 4.06 LPA which doesn't suffice me at all. Also,  I have got many calls for interviews but out of them only 6 interviews got arranged and in those interviews as well I am unable to ace them at all. I'm trying to apply for a Java Full Stack developer. I need suggestions as to where I should concentrate and how I should prepare myself. In the last few interviews that I gave, the interviewers asked questions about creating small programs and they didn't ask anything about my current and previous projects that I worked on. I need some suggestions as to what I can do here in this case. Also, how much salary can I expect for a switch if I have to answer for an expected salary.

I work in a well know product company but still I am unable to get any interview calls or even a email. Once I apply, all I am getting is rejection mail or no response. Is my resume bad? I have gotten promotion in my current job and also did some great achievements. What am I missing?

Trying for job switch but unable to get any calls or interviews. What am I doing wrong?

Joined a new org 9-10 days ago where I had been interviewed for a developer role in a legacy tech stack. Yesterday in a connect the TL told me I won't be working on the development side of things but rather in the environment/platform side of things, mostly doing configurations with minimal or no coding. The role seems very specific to this org and considering this is on a legacy stack I don't think there's much scope even in learning for me at all. I had two stages of interviews with this org and all of them were for a developer role, something like this did not even come up during interviews or the pre-connects I had with them pre joining. So confused and frustrated, because I had accepted this offer since it's a PBC and moved to North India even when I had a 22% higher offer in a tier 2 based service company in my home town. I have two options now:

1. My team has a great WLB. Stick to the non dev role & use the next 6 months to practice DSA & upskill myself from my current legacy stack to something more commonly used like Java/Node and crack some other PBC. 

2. Immediately start looking outside and interviewing again for a developer role in my current legacy stack, since I am on probation and can leave early and maybe even get a small hike over current CTC.

Can anyone please give some inputs or suggestions on what to do? Been interviewing since March and I finally managed to clear one and now this shit is happening.

Hi all, I have applied on more than 2000 job applications across linkedin, cutshort,instahyre,indeed,etc. Unfortunately I have only received around 6 interviews so far and half of them were from early stage startups. Hi all, can anyone please tell me how to find jobs in the software industry. I am currently looking for a job for about 1 month and have applied to 100+ jobs still not receiving anything. Received one call from a company and cracked the interviews, too. HR told me that I was selected after that ghosted me. It's becoming really hard seeing people getting jobs, and here I am not getting a single interview call. I am also Knight in Leetcode and have around 1.9 years of experience. Dont know where I am going wrong. I'm going into depression these days.

Any help would be really appreciated 🙏.

Regarding Interviews

Recently started giving interviews and cleared a few rounds in a couple of companies. I never heard back from any of them even if I felt the interviews went well. Very frustrated because of this as I fail to understand how difficult is it to just reject or send a rejection email if they don't want to hire. I understand that companies have 100s of candidates in their pipeline but it's so frustrating to not even get any rejection mail and get stuck in a limbo.

I’m an Entry Level engineer having 1.7 years of experience in a WITCH company, mostly working on Spring, AWS, Core Java backend stack. 

I’m looking to switch to a better company for my growth as I don’t find any opportunities here and the learning has been very slow. I’m currently learning frontend (Angular) and K8s. 

Have tried giving my resumé to multiple companies everywhere but no luck. Is it very hard for someone having backend experience of 1.7 years to switch?
