Is this a dumb idea?

What u think about my Master plan? I'm 26 yrs old saved 9 Lac, no much responsibility. Planning to put that 7 lack in post office senior citizen scheme, which pays 8.2% intrest. Get that amount quarterly and invest in nifty bees for next 4 yr? Is this dumb or worth it?

Unless you are Benjamin Button, is 60+ but looks 26 - there is a fundamental logical flaw in your plan.

It's as good a plan as any. Invest debt yield in a Index ETF. What do you want to achieve out if it? There are better ways to deploy it, but nothing wrong with your plan.

It is a dumb idea for two reasons: 1. With savings like these, better to keep finances clean and in your name. So SCSS is out of question 2. If you are 26 & earning, better to build an equity corpus.

What are your best lessons from the stock market?

Was analysing my trades over the last 3 years to understand my best and worst trades ever, then coupled that with my "Trade Diary" to see what were the difference of thoughts between both trades. I was levered heavily on these F&O trades by holding a margin position. Made ~73k that day with a Capital at Risk/Trade under 25k at all times. I have since left F&O, I have found better use of my time elsewhere and taxation on F&O income is not worth it anymore to me. What about you all? Any trades/lessons to share for all of us?

Taking Loan against property to invest in stock

I was thinking to leverage my parents home and take out chunky 1 cr @8.6% with premise to make 15%+ in direct equity and mfs. Asset belong to my parents with some contribution from me. I feel this is a relatively low cost capital way to get initial corpus and in long run gains will payback principal. I am earning well enough to payback 0.5-1 lpm worth of emis annually Does this sound as a wise plan?
