I have got L2 dependent visa for USA. How much safe and good it is if I move to USA and search job there?

My partner works at a product company that has a US HQ quite close to where I live and work. She is what you would call a critical resource of the company leading and driving multiple projects. She likes her role and while she will be relocating to US, wants to do everything to keep it in one way or another. 

Besides from the usual process of submitting resignation, how can she make effective use of the fact that she could potentially move here internally on an L1 visa or worst case keep connections warm and re-apply for a role here after relocating to US. Anything better than notice period and severing all ties. 

My perception of moving internally to US/Europe has been that its not only extremely difficult because companies here would prefer having an India cost center given its layoff/recession season in US but also due to the challenge of headcount requirements in the same business unit. Besides an L1 application costs about $15k. 

All of these factors make things trickier for her to keep her job in some form or the other.

How should she make the most of this situation? Are there any other outcomes here that I am missing?

So I guess I hit the mid-life career crisis and finally resigned from Microsoft abruptly yesterday. 

Reasons for resignation:
1. I am saturated with my work and feel out of fuel now.
2. No Pay Raise or Stocks since 2 years.
3. No Promo in last 2 years even after being a top performer and winning multiple awards and accolades.
4. Was promised by my manager that I will be promoted in Feb but now he/she quotes budget.

What my manager says:
1. You have a valid L1B, don't resign.
2. Says you will get the promo in September but now it is not possible.

Please Note: I resigned abruptly without any offers in hand. I guess managers think that folks who have L1B won't resign so their promo can be delayed.

Half of me wanna yell at you for being stupid, but other half tells me you know better about appreciation and promo thing within org. If you don’t regret it, it’s good then!

Whats your opinion on moving abroad and starting afresh at this stage of like?

Higher Education: done and dusted
No kids, planning to have after 3 years or so

Is India worth the social issues considering low cost of living

Is moving abroad worth the risk of starting afresh, risking settled jobs and visa issues

Job migration dilemma

I always planned on doing masters after completing two years of experience. But with the current market scenario, is it worth going to USA to pursue masters in HCI ? I’m stressed about not getting h1b visa and also having to pay the loan if the market continues to be bad. 
Also, would love to know if anyone has done and is practicing as a ux designer in Germany, Netherlands? What are the prospects in Europe?

Bachelors in Communication design 
Years of experience: 2 (product design) at reputed companies

Is it time we should start thinking about other than IT as there are uncertainty around jobs and Indians are easy targets for any recession. 
Not every layoff is due to bad performance but it is a layoff indeed. To avoid such dilemma and fear, should we move out of country or IT?

Currently working as SDE-2 at Amazon, promoted some 1 year back.

I'm totally burned out from work pressure, oncalls, layoff and performance review cycles every 3 months. Thinking of resigning without any offer by June/July.

Will this be the right decision in today's market.
I'll take some 2-3 months rest and start job hunting again, hopefully in better wlb companies.

Just want to enjoy, travel to new places and prioritise my health.
Balding and weight gain are major issues, and i don't think conditions will be improving in Amazon soon.

BUT, the job market is tough, and IDK how it will impact my career

I want to quit my job and take a break. 

I Have been contemplating to do the same for almost an year but decided not to do it. So many things have happened since then

1. Layoff wave started in india
2. Got married
3. Had to move back to bangalore from hometown

Reason I want to quit is I don't feel like working , feeling bored and work doesn't interest me that much. 

I want to take a break chill for a bit but don't have guts to do the same considering market conditions ( what if I don't get a job when I am back in the market😅) 

Please give any advice on how to tackle this situation or if someone has gone through the same, would love to hear your experience. 

Also how is the product hiring currently in India? 

PS:  I do have a good runway for 4-5 months considering all expenses but I am scared to take the step

is it a good idea to resign without a job offer ?
Lately, I've been in a very bad office culture which impacted my personality poorly. I started having self doubts, problem in my marriage (got married 1 month back but my manager didn't granted me leave so didn't got a chance to celebrate my marriage, not even the honeymoon) , problem with my health (cholestrol level raised severely high), lost 5 kgs, grey hairs and what not. 
so, my mind is telling me to quit the job, take a gap, travel somewhere freely without carrying a laptop and again after 2-3 months , get back finding a new job.
but i am also scared that what if I dont get a job again? what if i dont get opportunity for working with such a big organisation?
what are your thoughts/suggestions ?
