This is quite common at all US FAANG like Google & Amazon, we do daily meeting at 1:30 AM to 2:30 AM, quite common

In small startups, founders are actively involved in product strategy. So the priorities change very quickly. Depends on the founder whether it's a rocketship or sinking ship

It means they have mood swings and will tell you to do the opposite thing after 2 hours and they expect you to follow like a good little salary slave.

Once, a hiring manager wrote a JD that said: Must work well under pressure Must have no expectations Must enjoy being micromanaged

HR still added "Great work-life balance"
