Kirana Club APM Growth Hiring - Awful experience

The interviewer shortlisted my profile for APM - growth and reached out multiple times to schedule an interview. Once the interview was scheduled, within 5 mins, he said I don't think you'd be a good fit because this is a complete growth role. I asked him why he had mentioned APM then and why he shortlisted my profile, to which he said it's just a growth role and had no answer about why they were looking for an APM! He left the call in 10 minutes, saying he had another meeting and, since I'm from a Product background, I won't be able to fit in their APM- growth role! If someone from the product can't fit into APM roles, who else will? -_- Also, the interviewer didn't seem interested - he said 'got it,' and 'yes' to everything I said and wanted to end the call ASAP! #WorstInterviewexperience

Cars24 APM Interview - Worst experience

Around a month ago, HR called to ask if I was interested in the APM role. After following up multiple times for the interview, they said the hiring manager didn't like your profile. After 2-3 weeks, different HR reached out, saying they want to conduct round - 1 for the same team. The interview happened, and I reached out to HR after 3-4 days for the next steps, but she kept cutting my calls and completely ghosted me. I reached out to another HR, and she said the feedback on the portal was that "experience is not enough." I was pretty disappointed as while conducting interviews, HRs reached out to me so many times, but they couldn't even send an automated email for feedback. But it didn't end there. The HR who ghosted me called again after a couple of weeks to schedule round 1 with another team. The interview went well, and the interviewer asked me about my availability for round 2 and when I could join them, etc., saying we would try to conduct the next round soon. When I reached out for feedback, HR kept saying I'll call you later. I'm busy right now, and then they ghosted me. After following up multiple times, she said the feedback wasn't positive. I hoped for round 2 here since the interviewer seemed convinced and contented with my profile. Now, just because I reached out 10s of times, they told me that I have been rejected! How much time does it take to send an automated email? :/

Gojek

Are these signs from God or the government? Starting to believe there's some higher power in the universe

Storytime: I work at Gojek. This year on 10th March 2023, I was supposed to be laid off in their second minerva round. But got saved due to office politics. Ever since I found out, like a sane person, I've been on the lookout - but like an insane person, for whatever reason, not aggressively. Finding out that you got saved because of petty office politics, and how pointless everything is- changed the way I look at Jobs/companies. While I did wanna move, I wasn't desperate. All of them are snakes. Anyway, Since then, I've interviewed only for 3 companies. All 3 of them didn't work out. First company - After the intro call , I was told that this wasn't a good fit . No explanations given. I was quite sad on that one. First kick back from the world after learning I was to be fired. Self doubt was heavy at this point. Second company - cleared everything but they weren't making a good offer. Took 1.5 months to meet at an agreeable salary. I still wasn't happy and parted ways, sad that it didn't work out. During our negotiations, the Indian government changed some policies that hit their industry hard. This company is now just trying to minimize the impact of the new policies, currently. They were not able to offer market industry salary then and I'm sure wouldn't be able to do so now. Layoff rumours in the air. I wonder what would have happened had I given in and accepted their mediocre offer or they had given in and given me something they couldn't sustain. Third: I interviewed at MPL. I was impressed by the HR, the interview panel- great product minds to work with and grow. The salary discussed in the intro call seemed great. I cleared 3 rounds. Went and met them. However I didn't clear, post that. HR ghosted me abruptly. I kept following up. After a week they responded. Feedback wasn't constructive or detailed . It was borderline harsh. I was super sad. I thought MPL would be it. Woke up to the news of MPL layoffs today. Indian government changed GST 🤣
