Any tips on solo trips during September?

I just found cheap tickets in the last week of September. Any recommendations on - 

1. Stays : Comfortable & good for solo travellers
2. Itinerary : I am planning to go on a workation, so something where I can come back to base. I can drive 2/4 wheels
3. Rental recommendations of 2/4 wheels
4. Any other places which are not expected to be too costly in the last week

P.S. - I know it’s asking too much but for me it’s real last minute and kind of adventure with no real preps at all 😂

Guys I want to join any group in May but I do not have anything planned if there is any group or your friends are going do let me know. Before 1 month the availability of hotels and tickets are less thats why it would be better if anyone has planned everything.

This will be 6 nights 7 days trip, 700km bike ride from leh to leh.
