Let say If a private bank eg HDFC,ICICI, kotak goes bankrupt or Shut what will happen to my life insurance, team insurance,health insurance

As u guys know only 5L is insured, I want to know how much you’re comfortable keeping in account? Maybe someone’s living expense could be 10L a year and they are okay with keeping that as emergency fund liquid, just an instance. But given the kinds of scams and stuff that go on in wild, what is a good formula or number of Lacs to keep in bank account? Maybe u have several accounts for different purpose and u divide it? Please share your views.

Hey. I'm sorry if this question is a repeat, but I am currently on the lookout for medical insurance outside corporate insurance for my family (me, wife and newborn son). We are both working and are covered in corporate health insurance separately. But I have heard that a separate health insurance is better. What do you guys think? 34 Cr people enrolled in PMSBY and 16 Cr in PMJJBY. Assuming 80% are fake enrolments (some people in the article claim it to be 90%), it's almost 6000 Cr debited from people's accounts without their knowledge. There are three things wrong here: - Public Sector Banks broke people's trust - Good insurance schemes will die because of such sham practices - People won't make claims because they don't know that they are insured. So, if someone dies or gets critically injured, no compensation is provided.

I read many articles about job loss insurance or layoff insurance. Is this real ? Do we have such system in India also ? If so which are the best insurance for this and what are the pros and cons.

I have been receiving calls from HDFC to opt for ULIP plans. I didn't know much about it. Now I knew after much discussion with their fund manager and research on internet. What worries is the charges. The plan HDFC recommended had 12% premium allocation charge for 1st year itself and other charges after that. Still want an option if it is worth an investment and if any other bank or service that offer better ULIP plan.

What are our options if congress for some reason comes to power ?. I have heard stories how the land was taken away from people and given to someone because they politically close to them during Indira Gandhi time . Any ideas how we can protect myself from this crap of policy that congress is planning ?

Whats your strategy when it comes to Insurance? - ULIP with life cover (the ulip returns outdo the insurance by the time the policy ends usually) Vs Term life - Health ( Family floater Vs Individual cover ) assuming no pre existing conditions Sad that most if our gen lacks good insurance knowledge and penetration (this for me is a key aspect of financial Literacy!!)
