Data on founder Salaries in India
Wow! Funding winter, layoffs all over the place, no hikes, all blames always on the employees and here are at least few founders who took hikes?
Disclaimer : my very myopic view. pissed off when I put the employee hat.
This post is meant to trigger emotions. Before complaining about layoffs and drop in salaries, pl do remember that for every successful startup there are probably 10 startups that failed. The remuneration here they take is the reward for the risk they took years back.
Looks far better than 46cr the Snapdeal founder took once. Actually can anyone figure for what?
Would engineering, product, etc leadership be paid more than the founders? It is so in pre-seed and seed start ups. Anyone knows about in series A+?

2023 our salaries haven’t grown at all. Across my group of friends at work and college, the average amount of increment I heard is close to 5%
Only for landlords, it has been an year of insane increments 🥲
