Looking for a work Monitor
I am looking for a monitor for just work how much does it cost Can I take a monitor for around 6-7k ? If yes please suggest them and paste the link of possible thanks
If you use Mac and can go upto 12.5k then I'd recommend you to get this 26" LG Ultra wide monitor
.
LG UltraWide 21:9 26 inch (65.3) IPS FHD, sRGB 99%, HDR 10, 2560x1080 Pixels, Dual HDMI, AMD FreeSync, Black Color - 26WQ500 https://amzn.eu/d/aZeKKGo
.
With Mac's side by side apps, I'm able to have two browser windows side by side, or say a browser and IDE / terminal side by side. That really improves productivity as the back and forth that I've to do between windows is minimised. I'm so into it that I keep my MacBook's lid halfway down and have configured the monitor as primary display (and Mac's display is secondary display) so that I never even look at the Mac screen. Text is bigger, my neck is upright, and the productivity boost
.
I liked it so much that I got two of these: one 29" version for my hometown where I've been working from and another 26" version for the secondary town (my sister's place) where I occasionally visit for long stays
.
While it works with windows too (I've tried my sister's laptop), I'm not sure how much benefit would it give and how easy would it be to use side by side apps.
But know that this is the cheapest ultra wide on the market, so other than that 21:9 aspect display it has nothing going for it. It's a very basic budget monitor, limited up-down angular adjustment on screen (no sideways, no height adjustment).
.
Display quality is nothing to brag about, not very sharp and colours are just okay. And it only supports HDMI (29" one has two HDMI inputs, I think 26" has just one, can't remember exactly though)
I have a windows
But the screen size is too large Im okay with 21 inch
So in that range it'd be nice for me

Go for this 27 inch benq monitor made specifically for programming. Capitalism may suggest a 'grander' monitor with more real estate but I've got this one https://www.benq.com/en-in/monitor/home/gw2780t/
And it works like a charm. Has got usb C connectivity + HDMI so you should be good.
I had a BenQ previously had issue with build quality
So BenQ I rethink my decision

Did it fall apart on its own? Just curious. Also, Dell seems to have fairly good offerings in the monitor market. Check them out maybe?
