Hi folks, I am a final year student from a Tire 3 college and I am really confused about which path should I choose

I have solid experience as a backend developer using Django and made several projects using it but I am not very interested in doing SDE unless the project I am working on is really good

I know the fundamentals of cloud computing and I am also interested in learning more.

I am pursuing ETC Engineering so I also have a fundamental knowledge of microprocessors and microcontrollers which I can utilize as an IoT engineer but there are not a lot of jobs in IoT as of now.

I am confused about which one should I focus on more, will be better for me and help me find a job.

Or should I leave everything and start learning embedded? Please help I am fucked.

All the openings I see on LinkedIn or anywhere is either for 3+ years experience or interns who are in college. Forget cracking the interview I don't know how to get the opportunity to face one.

Looking for high tech IC role in Mumbai

I am aged 30 ,UM ,Male , have been working in IT for close to 9 years now . But I never had an option to quit this job  due to my family financial situations. Now I saved enough money for my parents. I want to switch my career to Semiconductors technology (Chip designing, Physical design etc ). I don’t have any prior experience or not even workshops experience in that field but I always wanted to be. It might sound like foolish thought, but I feel like hell here doing this job without any interest (but I always received outstanding feedback from my leadership as well as clients). If I continue here , my next designation would be Manager.

Long story but here are my questions …

1. Should I continue in IT or switch my career ? 
2. I won’t get same package as that I m getting ryt now But Does organisations accept my reason and provide an opportunity aa fresher ? 
3. As I m unmarried and don’t have anyone other than my parents as my dependents and habituated to a peaceful for quite some time, Is it a good decision to pursue my career now , knowing the fact that I might struggle with financial needs.? 

Your genuine answer could help people like me who are trapped in this kind of dilemma.. TIA

Situation at semiconductor

Hi everyone, I've been working as an embedded system engineer at a startup for almost two years. I'm not satisfied with my salary and the work, I'm looking at other options for me but I am not able to figure out where to apply, there are a couple of startups but they don't pay as much and big companies don't ever respond to messages or applications.

Kinda lost here, wondering what to do.

My current TC is 10LPA and I am looking to get at least 15 LPA.

How much it takes for a poor guy like me to start semi conductor manufacturing? Any guru’s in this sector? Money, knowledge, machinery.. etc

Completed 3 years at Cisco this month as a Hardware Engineer, joined straight out of a tier-2 college in 2021.

Over my 3 years, what I've learnt is that Cisco is just riding on the monopoly it has in the networking space. There's basically no innovation when it comes to Router hardware, and we basically reuse existing designs, packaging them as "newer and better" products. No risk, no Ishq 🙁

There's absolutely zero investment in R&D, and any new feature that gets added to the products only comes in after one of the competitors launches them, keeping Cisco behind in the game.

If Cisco keeps going like this, I'm sure the likes of Arista and Juniper will over us in the next couple of years, even with the new "Silicon One" that Cisco's promoting. 

PS: I can only speak from a Hardware PoV, and I'm not quite updated with what's going on with Cisco's SW offerings.
