Just as the title says, how on earth were you able to find a decent flat/pg? I'll be moving to Andheri East next week and I have been trying hard to find affordable renting options but haven't been able to. The properties are either way too expensive, ask for way too high security deposit or just don't prefer bachelors. Brokerage is also a problem. 
What helped you all in finding a decent flat? Any leads would be helpful.

Hey everyone! 

I'm looking out for a flatmate to share a 1BHK apartment in Andheri East. 

5 mins from WEH, 10 mins walking distance to Gundavli Metro station & Andheri station. Office connectivity should not be an issue. 

It is a semi furnished flat and I have rented out a few appliances. Wifi available as well. 

Flat is on the 3rd floor, no lifts are available. 
Parking space for 2 wheeler is freely available, but 4 wheeler isn't. 

It is an old society premises, so the flat size is decent (compared to other 1BHK around), but the building itself is going under redevelopment from the next year. 

The rent is 35k which would be split between the two of us.

I’m looking for flats / decent PGs near Vikhroli West / Powai / Andheri East preferably. It’s been pretty hard to find them.
