If I was in your situation, I would invest in learning in demand skills that have a future and hence can be used to make a career. A couple of them would be: 1. Video editing - content creation in general is on the rise and is creating new jobs. You can look at the video editing course by AevyTV. 2. Digital marketing - businesses are selling online big time and are looking to reach their audience through digital mediums. Both of then have freelance opportunities as well, and lower your dependence on a job. If you want to try something that has a mix of online and offline, you can try the Amazon seller program. It will give you both a layoff proof income and the skills required to manage a business. These might seem like tough ideas with uncertainty, but it's important to be self reliant in this day and age, especially if you don't have great college pedigree or a network or inheritance to fall back on. The earlier you start this journey the better your chances of coming out of your current situation.
