Overall at a tough spot. 

Was thinking of going for Amity Noida / Asian Business School / Jaipuria. 

He is a NON GEM, B.Com graduate. 

Also if not MBA he is looking to get a job but  is unsure what should he purse since he is just a B.Com grad from a government college.

I am a 2024 batch btech Cse , general male candidate from IIIT( 10 year old).

Class 12th - 97% (ISC)
Class 10th - 96.4% (ICSE)
Btech Cgpa - 9.415 (till 6th sem)

I am thinking of giving CAT next year but in dilemma that should I go for work experience or not . As iims do prefer people having work experience. 

And what percentile should I aim for getting admission in old IIMs.

Hi! I’m in a huge dilemma and looking out for any advice I can get. I currently have 1.5 years of work ex and want to pursue MBA. 
Im confused if I should complete 2 years of work ex and then quit to do full time mba prep or quit right away to do prep. My quant is weak so I will need a lot of practice to crack CAT.
2 year criteria comes in so that I can keep options like ISB open as it requires a minimum of 2 year work ex. 
Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Rejected BPO offer from TCS and TechM back in 2017. Sitting for six years at home. Prepared for CAT, XAT , IIFT, SNAP, TISS, XGMT, SRCC, NMAT, CMAT. Didn't secure a good percentile. Stopped preparing for MBA entrances and started preparing for govt exams.  Still not able to clear any.  B.com grad with accounting hon. No int in CA/CS. Zero experience at anything. Non-tech grad planning to do Masters but stuck in this conundrum. For more context:

- Grades went down a lot but for medical reasons 
- Loads of extra curriculars plus freelancing for 2 years
- Working as a marketer in an early stage startup  
- GRE score: 320. CAT yet to give this Nov 

I know that getting IIM BLACKI is impossible even if I’m not a GEM cause all they care about is grades. But I wanna know if an MiM abroad (from a good uni) is worth it or should I just do an MBA in some top 10 B school here. 

If anyone’s done an MiM - lemme know the ROI and if it’s truly worth spending 50L+ for a one year degree.

Hey all, I'm currently working at a boutique consulting firm, which pays well (~1.3 years) but has terrible working hours. I am planning to take CAT this year (already preparing for 2-3 months). Since CAT is just 90 days away I am thinking of quitting my job or at least putting in a notice period (as it will reduce my workload and expectations from me) and focusing on CAT for the days left.
I don't think l'll be able to give 100% effort to the CAT exam in my current job scenario. Also, are there any alternative suggestions from folks in the same industry or anyone, by which I can get some time off (maybe medical leave for 20-30 days) or something which will give me time to prepare without quitting?

So I left my job in Jan 2024 after 3.4 yoe.
I wish to switch my profile to HR, and therefore, I wish to pursue an MBA degree.
Now the problem starts:
my family is pressuring me that if I'm unable to convert any good colleges, how will I justify my gap year so I should take up a job.
I don't wish to take up a job since I want to focus entirely on CAT prep.
They are also pressurising me that if I'm unable to convert, then I will have to start from scratch in HR with a low salary and they wish to see me married within next 2-3 years so why would a nice guy marry a girl who is earning 25k-30k a month.
So I'm really stressed out. 
What should I do?
Take up a job and then prepare for entrance, or ignore them and just focus on prep, like what's the solution?

Should I go for MBA in top 10 b schools india like IIMs, XLRI, SPJAIN, etc

So a little background about myself. 

I graduated in 2023 from a tier college and managed to get an off-campus job in an investment bank as an SDE. 

My current salary is 24LPA.

Would it be beneficial for me to do MBA from the above mentioned colleges

Like would the placements there be better than what I have currently? 

Also if I can save enough money in 2 years would a MBA in US in a top 20 uni be better than MBA in IIM? 

I will be going for further studies sometime in 2025 or 2026.

My main goal is to improve my salary and build a network. 

I have also managed my own dev agency and did freelance projects in the past 4 years. 

If anybody has gone through the same please let me know your experience.
