Management consultant career progression

Currently working as a management consultant but sometimes I wonder what are the hard skills that I need to develop to stay relevant in the market in the long term. The thought arises due to the fact that the work domain of work keeps changing and makes me feel jack of all trades and master of none.What are the thoughts of some of the MCs out here?
