I would suggest that if it is possible, then as a person working in the tech industry; you should make your father's life easier by teaching him WhatsApp and helping with him initial setup and everything.
If WhatsApp for Business is not too costly then that might become a game changer for him to make his life easier.

They definitely have great financial sense, negotiation skills and business acumen inculcated in them since early in their life. But saying that's equivalent to an MBA, especially after attending a tier 1 school is nuts !
