McKinsey benefits for junior associates
Anyone who is from McK or knows a friend who works at McK as a consultant. What are the perks apart from the salary? 1. Do you get a phone? 2. Home office set up? 3. When you travel what is the allowance for eating/spending?
I know there's an iPhone and a laptop on joining
Don't know about specific benefits at Mck but in general there should be a 2.5-3k food allowance when travelling for case / project (although it's not monitored too strictly imo)
How do we join Bain and company ? I'm real time analyst at Amazon and want to switch to consulting and looking for MBB
Good chunk of the hiring for consultant roles is through campuses (B schools, undergrads)
Referrals are your second bet - esp if you can a Manager / Partner to refer you, you will get an interview. Unfortunately hiring is slow as of now - haven't seen any new joinees over the last 3 months

Yes phone laptop home office setup, daily food allowance, cab by office or reimbursement, cost of living allowance additional if posted abroad for a study, spectacles allowance 500$ a year ;-) etc etc etc
