See that Meesho has hired loads of PMs from ISB (I think because VP Product is an ISB Alum). Any bias towards it? Considering ISB PMs come at high cost, the average PM salary would easily be 27-29L. Though the company has bragged about amazing work policies - permanent WFH, quaterly meetups, unlimited leaves and so on. But it seems like they are going back on their word by calling people to the office. How's the overall team culture? Can someone shed some light?

They might explode this year. Huge attrition in leadership. Be carefull. They leadership has quit in many positions but they are awaiting replacement and they have been asked to not update their LinkedIn

Not trying to be a critic here, nor trying to tarnish the reputation. But just wondering why does employee friendly policies like these change so quickly? Do investors and leaders get FOMO? Hey Amazon has called everyone to office so let's do it too. Or does the Work from anywhere policy was temporarily to attract good talent? FYI, this remote policy was scrapped within 1 year of implementing it.

Byju’s list is ready for more layoffs .

Internal source: most vps are around the table these days, and too busy to get goats to sack this week. For Byju's product team, this week is crucial, usual results are out on Friday. ( product, design and media) 45% -50% cut from each team. There won’t be any news about Byjus from now on, my wife was the source, and she got laid off today.

Razorpay - Doubts on PM Culture

Have heard good things about the PM function there - but never understood that why would people in a PM role leave within 9-15 months. Do these guys leave wilfully or they are put in PiP and then forced to leave? Would be helpful if anyone from Razorpay can shed light on this.
