Merit is a myth

Merit matters only in texts. In the real world as you aptly pointed out, it's family, network and I'd add even looks matter. But yes hard work is still needed. And no one should expect life to be fair. Instead we all should simply try and increase the probability that we can make something of ourselves. For that we'll have to put in the work and network with people wherever it's possible. Dress in a presentable way. Whatever little things we feel can improve our odds, we should try and do that.

What th connection between merit and reservation?. Reservation in India is caste based. The gvmt automatically assumes all GC are rich and all reserved category are poor. Kids of IAS officers don't have to pay for application forms, college fees, or score any marks in the entrance exams to get a college admission. They have guaranteed promotion in the government jobs. Whereas people like gopal Mishra who lives in poverty who was recently murdered, have to pay higher fees, limited education opportunities, limited library access and no government support.

Bro IQ matters 90 percentage of time ,people with hig IQ always get a better life with Better opportunity,money . Especially in country blike India and its education system . Having high IQ il for few is the biggest unfairness this nature have done,no amount of hardwork can beat 190 IQ. 80 percentage people have done well.

And Indian deserve the reservation, u can't let go of the bullshit degenerative culture that gives u elitesm over other people from same relegion that tooo backed my zero logic but Indian are against reservation with full logic and economics. India and Indians are a joke for the modern world ,other than being cheap labour
