My Delhi Metro story of why I got late to work...

Some DU kid was trying to act cool. Got his bag stuck between the doors of the Metro. Entire metro coach was laughing at the kid. 😂 Peak Delhi Behaviour.

As a Delhiite, I don't even remember when I went to Qutub Minar or Red Fort Or shopping at Sarojini or Lajpat How will I know which hotel is good or bad? I don't stay in hotels in my own city 🤦‍♀️

I was at a friends place and it suddenly started raining heavily. I had to reach my girlfriends place ASAP. She was already very angry that I was not spending enough time with her. The problem was that I was not getting any auto on Uber or Rapido. I stopped an auto and asked it for a ride. He quoted Rs 800 for a 4km ride. I was like, "Are you crazy?" I somehow negotiated it down to Rs. 500. But it made me wonder why is this city like this. Like everyone is trying to scam you. Every one is a grifter, from your landlord to auto wallahs to the cops. Have you faced such things in this city?

Today on my way to office saw someone threw a lays wrapper out on the street. That person was in an audi a6, surely this car is costly, hence that person is well off, still he doesnt have the common sense to dispose off the garbage responsibly.

Perks of working at CyberHub, ig. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was at the Cyberhub today morning and saw that a deranged woman was shouting at a female security guard. I couldn't understand what it was about because of a lot of commotion there. The woman made a mistake and pushed the security. The Security proceeded to slap her so hard in the face. Then, the security remarked something in the densest Haryanvi accent I know, "Pata nhi kaha se aa jaate hain". I anyway have a ton of audit work to do and anyway month-end is coming so it is closing time, I rushed to get to the office. Have you guys seen such lafda in real life? I was so shook.

I was suffering from 2-3 mild health issues in metro. (prolonged cold n cough, regular sneezing etc) Came home 🏡 in diwali and now extended wfh due to health gain. Living with parents and consuming clean air + food is helping improve my sleep quality as well ❤️‍🩹 (2h+ deep sleep) 8h continuous sleep. I did cost benifit analysis and have decided to work on a plan which will eventually help me settle down at my birthplace within 2-5y. synopsis -- Children's play under sun 🌞 and have group of 10 kids. They ain't worried about anything. Their happiness index > ceos. They don't know about masturbation till 10th or age 14 if they don't have a smartphone. My workplace is open and aqi is below 10. Strong peepal and banyan trees 🌴 even 100y old. When I feel stressed due to any reason I just go to see sunset near my place hardly 2km away. It's a stress buster with earbuds in and watching migrant birds crossing river. Ain't those birds more free and independent than us? Like they don't give a damn 🕊️ about future and enjoy the present. Very less car and almost 0 traffic ⛔. People still use bicycles and cycle repair shop>garages. Life is slow and peaceful. People go to sleep at 9-10pm and wake up at 5-6am. Life is too easy. Cost of a family with 2acre land is hardly 25k/m here. Sometimes I wonder why chase 2 lac/month sacrificing so much in a so called developed city. Society is ambivert. Pizza 🍕 🍔 burger biryani is trying to enter these areas. But I don't miss swiggy. Zeptonis redundant here.
