Need guidance/Roadmap
I have started my career in Infosys for 3.6LPA. I need a roadmap for getting into faang companies or other companies with considerable LPA around 12 Lakh. Please give your suggestions
If you are on training right now
1) try to achieve 80% or more than you will get extra 5k as bonus per month.
2) try to get Confirmed as soon as possible, otherwise your >80% benefit will gone.
3) if you are on bench (which is so often in infy for freshers) try to gain knowledge and skills required for power programmer
4) as soon as you are eligible for BRIDGE PROGRAM (one year at your current role) try for Power programmer or ACON.
This will get you a jump from 3.6 LPA to 7.5 LPA (atleast for ACON) or 9.5 LPA (atleast for Power programmer) in just close to 3 years without switching.
5) Then SWITCH if you have 7.5 LPA base with 3 YOE (with 1st ever switch) anyone will give you around 11-12 LPA
So, in 3.5 or close to 4 Years — From 3.6 to 12 LPA
I am working in a project for 2.5 yrs with very old tech stack(mainframe), I have interest in Springboot but not sure how to change domain,
Can I switch company for Springboot project or it is advisable to stay in infy and change project
You should switch only.. coz it’s very difficult to get released and then get the project of our desire. Better to switch..
