Need help with MacBook Service

I purchased a MacBook 13 month ago. 2 weeks ago suddenly its audio system stopped working and getting auto reboot again and again, also it is not getting charged. I took it to the Service center and now they are telling me that its motherboard is damaged and its replacement cost is 75000 (40% of its actual price) . As it got damaged just 2 week after the 1 year warranty expiry date I have to pay 75000 to get it fixed.  After searching this issue on the net, It seems like this problem is pretty common and I can see a lot of posts regarding this motherboard failure in mac. Has anyone here faced this issue before or aware of this? It's very frustrating to spend 40% of laptop buy value just after 1 year to get it repaired.

I installed the latest OS and my laptop is giving me the black screen since. Apple service center is asking for a 2.5k just for diagnosing the issue. Is it okay to go to a local repair shop? Any suggestions? I don’t have Apple Care.

Hi everyone, I bought a MacBook Pro (14') just over a year ago (about 14-15 months), and unfortunately, I didn't purchase the extended AppleCare. Recently, my MacBook suddenly stopped working, and I can't power it on anymore. The charging light doesn't show up, but I can feel a slight vibration when I touch the body. I took it to an Apple Authorized Service Center, and they told me it's a motherboard issue that needs to be replaced. They also mentioned that because the Touch Bar is part of the motherboard, it would need to be replaced as well. The total cost for the repair is around ₹56,000. I asked if there was any water damage or physical damage, and they confirmed there wasn't any. I've heard about consumer protection laws that might cover repairs for manufacturing defects even out of warranty, but I'm not sure if that applies in India. Does anyone have experience with this? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Heyy folks, my MacBook Pro (14in, 2021 model) has started giving me troubles in last warranty period month. I am in touch with online reps, and today I have got all the recordings proving that it is really a trouble. So just curious, has anyone here faced MacBook issues during warranty period and got the MacBook replaced? Or did they repair it somehow?

Is apple care really worth it??? I am thinking to buy m3 pro. i am usually good with taking care of my personal gadgets. Should I invest in apple care? Is there a solid differentiator that makes apple care really worthy?

Hello Guys, recently I was traveling and I had kept my water bottle and laptop in the same backpack compartments but in different areas. The water spilled and I realized after a few hours that the laptop compartment had also gotten wet and there were some droplets on the laptop. The laptop is not starting. Never buy an iPad, Airpods or Apple watch in india. These products do not have any service in India. Only replacement is offered. One of my friends had an iPad (bought for 55k). It had type-c charging. But the charging pin got damaged. The only solution they offered was replacement which cost around 44k (since the iPad was not in warranty). We asked them to fix it but they mentioned that they do not offer repair services on iPad, AirPod and Apple watch. My friend even sent the iPad for pickup service. It was taken to Bangalore and they said the same thing. The guy is still crying in the corner😐 Did anyone else face the same issue?

Looking for recs to replace Microsoft Surface Book i5 battery. I've been having issues for the last few months with my Surface screen attaching/detaching randomly, and laptop completely shutting off after its less than 40%. I'm quite sure its all battery related and looking for recommendations to replace my battery. This is probably a long shot but my question here is how many of you have successfully replaced you Surface Book i5 battery?
