Negotiation with HR

Hi guys(Mainly HRs), Recently I applied to one SaaS company for the position-Solution Engineer/Implementation engineer, I had 2 rounds and was done with both the rounds. As I was expecting results, I got this mail from the previous round interviewer saying ( See the below/above image). It sounded very odd and strange to me and frustrating to hear this, I acknowledged it and mailed the interviewer and HR asking to give any constructive feedback if there were any; Until now they haven't responded back. I feel better now but obviously very disappointed with such a reply, can any one of u from startups/ HRs from start-up Please clarify - Is this the way Start-up rejects candidates or I got unlucky in this situation? Please help friends.

I'll go first. I got a call for an APM role from one of the companies which did sound pretty sketchy and the recruiter was started bullying me into answering questions, when I asked to know more about the role. The recruiter was extremely unprofessional, and obviously the conversation was nowhere great. They however, did go ahead and sent me the JD and other links, etc to fill in and apply for the job. Mind you, I hadn't applied for the job. 🥲 It just was a pretty sour conversation which had left me in an uncertain situation. Any similar experiences?

What is a reasonable ask while negotiating with startups? Should I ask for a match or hike of X% over my TC/annum (52lk Base + 8lk Bonus + Rs30lk RSUs), or should I negotiate only over the Cash (Base + Bonus) component? A startup I’m negotiating with is not considering the RSUs I have and is offering a 8% hike only on the cash component, and is throwing in ESOPs (paper money) instead. What do I do?

I have been interviewing at a startup. Initially I told my expectations to be 38LPA Later came to know, they pay much more. Have cleared all the interviews, how can I negotiate for more salary? Current compensation - 27LPA Yoe - 6.5 Role: Senior frontend engineer

l attended an interview today and told my expectation is 24 LPA, but they said for my skills, they were expecting to give around 26 to 30 LPA. Now they've asked me to think about the proper CTC and give it to them. I don't want to ask for 30 LPA either. How can I revert back and how can I ask them for ~28 LPA now? History: I've been leading teams and developing projects that were used by millions of people. Worked with startup's that were in rock bottom and bought them to a good position. Finished college last year. But getting into full time for the first time. Been working as a freelancer/contractor for 5+ years.

My current CTC is 8.1 Ipa and during interview rounds, I have asked for 15 LPA as that was the budget of the role. It's an MNC BANK. Not revealing the company. Now they are saying that only a 30% hike is possible because no one in the industry will give more than 30% of the current salary it seems. I asked what kind of logic is this as my skill sets are good and I have cleared all technical rounds. They say that's how it is. This is in hr discussion. What to do in such a situation? How to ask?

I'm been on the lookout for a new job and the first question recruiters ask is if I have an offer in hand and what's my expected CTC. The next time, i get asked from a recruiter if I have an offer in hand, I want to say yes. Is there a way for them to verify if there's an offer or not other than asking you to send a copy of it ?

Have been interviewing for roles and the HRs are low balling like crazy even though they most definitely have the money, talking about non-startups listed companies as well. Makes me think if offer shopping or editing a current offer with a higher number and then shopping is the only way to go
