Networking Events

Can you viners guide me towards websites,networking events etc where I can find jobs in startup. I haven't ever worked with one and am looking for an opportunity. Thanks BTW 15 YOE BFSI/Fintech 7YOE.

Everyone keeps saying most interesting opportunities come to those who network. Be it your second job, getting opportunity to be part of a founding team, finding right cofounder or just meeting the most interesting ppl. But how do one start, currently working at an early stage impact fund in Bangalore with learning then a year of experience. Happy to open up the discourse and get one’s suggestion for the same. Hi folks! Am new to the city, working for an MNC and recently got the role of Project coordinator (similar to PM) but along with this, I want start exploring the startup ecosystem here in Bengaluru. Am still figuring out my niche. Could you guys please suggest what kind of events I should attend to meet people, what are some of the X (Twitter), Reddit, Instagram or any other such SM pages to follow so that I am relevant with the things happening here? I am up for part time jobs and apprenticeships if available to start immediately or after skilling up myself with the requirements. PS. As I am still finding my niche, any sector is good enough to begin with, but since I am a Biomedical Engineering Graduate, I would prefer something in the Medtech arena.

Have a niche networking event tomorrow But very anxious being doubly introvert How do you start? What do you say? Do you have a template that works for you?

I have 2 job offers in hand and now am a bit confused. Need your advice on decision-making, 1st offer - Jaipur location - investing and trading company, offering me an Equity Research Analyst role with a profit-sharing in the new business division which they are developing. 2nd offer - Bangalore-based startup, recently raised $550k, has 18 months of runway, the current scale is low.. they are offering me mixed roles - 50% of the time will go into Social Media and Content, 30% in Business and 20% in Finance. ESOPs will be based on 6-8 months of performance. Now I have 2 career paths in mind: 1) I want to do CFA and get into the core finance side... it might also lead me to the VC, PE, or IB side. 2) Startup - I have done startup in the past but failed. I want to do startup again but currently want to join a good startup where I can learn from experienced people. I don't know how I should go about deciding b/w these 2 career paths. If you were in my shoes, how would you make a decision?

I am a data engineer with 2 years experience in python, SQL, AWS, spark stack. I am looking for a switch and my priority is to get into startup as I get to learn a lot, atleast that's what I believe. I am not sure though how to get there. I am applying on naukri and LinkedIn, and I am unable to find startups to apply to. I can only see midsize businesses or big corporations. I don't know anyone who works for a startup, and don't know how to network with those folks specifically. It will be great if you people can provide guidance for networking and searching job in startup
