Night shift

Hey, everyone I'm a recent MBA grad (fresher with no experience) , i got placed in an IT service company for the first two months , i was nurtured to being a project manager but honestly that role didn't suit me , i come from a non tech background and the initial shift was 2 p.m -11 p.m. But one week back my department was changed and now I'm in a corporate strategy role seeing the finance side of the project doing FP&A. I was happy that my role was changed but my shift is from 6 p.m to 3 a.m now and now I'm scared that this shift will ruin my mental health and cause other issues. But I really need the work experience, currently the market is pretty bad and with no work ex, It's impossible to switch. So my fellow 🍇viners help me out and give me tips on how to manage the night shift without ruining my mental health.

Honestly, I thought the added allowance would be worth it. But I honestly hate the work I'm doing and everything about the office in general. I miss chilling out in the evenings after work like a normal person, I miss just being normal and not having weird sleep patterns. I cry or am on the verge of crying almost everyday. At this point, I just want to quit and take a few weeks to feel normal and happier? Of course, given the market, this would be a very stupid decision. Unfortunately all the jobs I'm getting are usually a pay cut. I don't get how people, with MBAs, families and an active social life do this, honestly. I have neither and I freaking hate it. Would quitting be actually worth it for my overall health?

Hey how do you folks on rotational shift manage your fitness goals huh!!? Like this week ur in day shift and next week ur in night shift. How are you guys managing to maintain sleep cycle, diet and workout?

I don't know what a good work life balance is in India. Please tell me what working hours are
