In Bangalore Covid cases has started to spike again, please wear mask everyone. Yesterday one person age 62,  passed away due to Covid. 

A leading well known MSME book keeping and Peak XV surged backed startup, has active COVID cases in the office and they are doing nothing about it. I asked the HR and the person was clueless. The positive person themself is informing everyone to be cautious. Health of employees is a joke here. Basic courtesy of informing employees is severely missing. Also not sure what Office Admin/HR leaders plan for our safety. These people will have no impact of their health and their families. I’m expected to come to the office though my work doesn’t require to come to office. I was okay with this. But after hearing Covid cases I have started to feel panicking. 

Also I have isolated myself from my fam and elderly parents. 

In Q4 the organization said it would be transparent. This is how it is planning to do that? Our health doesn't matter? :/

Only making things public, makes them take action. Is this what I have to do every time I need them to meet basic expectations?

If any other company facing this problem? How are you dealing this? Please share ideas to isolate or precautionary measures 🙏

- Tragic landslides in Wayanad, Kerala, have claimed eight lives and left hundreds feared trapped. The disaster struck early Tuesday, affecting areas near Meppadi, Mundakkai Town, and Chooral Mala.
- Kerala's chief minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, confirmed that all government agencies are actively involved in rescue operations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured all possible help and expressed his condolences.
- Former Congress MP Rahul Gandhi expressed deep anguish and pledged to speak with Union ministers for additional assistance. He urged UDF workers to aid in rescue and relief efforts.
- The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority has deployed Fireforce and National Disaster Response Force teams to the affected areas. Additional teams, including the Kannur Defence Security Corps, are en route to assist.
- Heavy rainfall continues to hinder rescue operations. A second landslide near Chooral Mala School has exacerbated the situation, with local media reporting significant damage and many families stranded.

The new variant (JN1) apparently was identified in 56k people in SGP in a week. That's huge for Singapore.

'Because of its transmissibility, JN.1 can become the dominating strain of circulating COVID virus unless proactive preventive measures are not followed which are - frequent hand sanitization, usage of Triply mask, and social distancing,' said Dr Tushar Tayal, lead consultant, internal medicine, at CK Birla Hospital in Gurugram.

I have been having some crazy discussions on this platform about the current political scenario  of our country right now. 
And this post by Dr. Anand Ranganathan pretty much summaries everything I had to say.
There is no doubt that both the sides are using religion and caste heavily but this is not new to me. It has been happening for 75 years.

Both the parties have not shown much promise in the development of our country. Pretty much standard stuff.

But the deal breaker for me in case of religious or caste based promise is that one party (BJP) just says it to win votes and the other party (Congress) actually has decided to implement divisive laws.

- The number of dengue, malaria, and chikungunya cases in Mumbai has surged over the last fortnight, according to BMC data.

- Senior consultant Dr. Gautam Bhansali highlighted that many dengue patients require admission due to drastically low platelet counts.
