Hey, this is first time working for small startup, it's been almost 2ywars now and this company os not giving me salary slip, I have asked a few times but they keep ignoring the request. Also, being a small startup i don't get any ppf and other benefits. How should I go about it. I have recently heard that not being on ppf may let new recruits doubt about the credibility of work. They have lot of pending salaries and not having salary slip makes it difficult to trak how much is pending and how much I have recieved. 
Any suggestions will be helpful.

1. Most of the time it sucks because you're comparing and that'll always take your joy. In some cases, you're not underpaid but someone else is overpaid. 
 2. When you don't have a job, you'll appreciate being a bit underpaid too. 
 3. Not all people can take the risk of standing against the organizations. 
 4. Indian labour laws suck and that's why the culture of fair compensation is just a joke. 
 P.s.: Everyone should know their 'market' value and they should always aim for the highest of the range.

1. Direct Messaging on Grapevine (yes yes, I know at this point everyone seems to be giving up on this xD)
2. V2 Update to Salaries - making it more useful with more data points 
3. Launching verification and company private groups for 100 companies (we will keep doing this where we have enough people)
4. A better feed: We are hoping to show you less of posts you’ve already seen (A common complain with Grapevine)
5. A new approach to communities on Grapevine
6. A feature buff to Polls - making them even more insights rich
7. Better Link type posts - currently links on Grapevine are broken
8. Grapes V2: People will get grapes for creating ‘Chatty posts’ and ‘Deep Polls’ over and above the current definition of Grapes that is just focused on the number of likes you get

What can you expect from Grapevine in the next few weeks?

The graph has become a nice source for comparing where your salary stands in your field, but it's hard to ignore the fact that we don't know when the salary was given. 

2022 was a gold mine, compared to the market right now where jobs are hard to come by. I think having a salary date filter (past x months) will also help gauge how the job market actually is right now.

I work at a product startup and it's been 1yr and 3 months now. It is my first job. We are an engineering group of 5 including the CTO. After 5 months I joined, we stopped our B2B product and started working on a B2C product which is very promising. But since last 6-7 months we are not getting our salaries and I don't know what to do. It's been hard finding a new job because most of them demand more than 2,3 years of experience.
I would like to work on startups again for the intense learning atmosphere they provide. Can someone help

I believe it is extremely difficult to judge exact level of an individual during an interview. It is better to also use past salary as some indication of value to last company. Having said that, the company needs to get to the correct salary range depending on performance in first 6 months.

It’s been close to 10 days since we announced Salaries (beta) on Grapevine. This little baby product has gotten good traction, so we want to give it more love and develop it into something deep, and helpful

Since launch, more than 10,000 people have used the product, and 4000+ have contributed their salary information anonymously :)

We are working on making the product even better and make more data points available as we go.

Why do companies pay better offer to new joiners rather than retaining existing employees?

Companies often prioritize cost optimization over the well-being of their employees. It seems there's a tendency for companies to offer more attractive pay packages to new hires rather than investing in retaining their existing workforce. 

This approach, aimed at bringing in fresh perspectives, has always led to dissatisfaction among current employees who feel undervalued.

In my experience, many professionals have encountered situations where significant salary hikes were only granted when they considered leaving their current positions. So, some companies do make efforts to retain talent.

So, job-switching becomes a necessary step to achieve substantial salary increases, as long-term loyalty to a company does not always result in proportional financial rewards.

I requested my question earlier as well. 
And I was fortunate enough to connect with one user over here who told me to apply to the organisation he is working with. I am grateful to that person.
However, I can't rely on a single job application.
And LinkedIn is just too much.
Could anyone help ? It's really urgent and my experience and salary doesn't match at all. 
I faced a salary deduction and NO HIKE in 2020 when the pandemic hit us.

I am comfortable with some similar role as well.

Asking again - Which product design (mechanical) design companies are hiring ?

Another year around and last year was dry with literally 0 percent hike. My salary not been increased for past two years and this year my hopes are going down. The PMS cycle was supposed to be on May 1st. We were supposed to get manager ratings. When I checked  it wasnt even case and they dont even communicate of such a delay. They just keep it closed doors and this is what I see as transparency. Already I have many exits voluntarily. When I was demanded for work day and night. they said company will reward people meritocritic and now when I turn them back and ask they arent even interested with sharing date on when the appraisal would come. What should I do I feel being cheated after 2 years of working day and night? Any news or this is going to be one another year of their sick promises and betrayals?

We had an internal referral, and I checked her portfolio before reaching out.
She had multiple projects, worked with many customers across countries, the designs were fresh and inviting, no clutter.

I had a budget of 25-30LPA, had quoted 19-24 LPA (because well)
Her expectations were 30-33 LPA
