Offer negotiation help

I have been interviewing at a startup. Initially I told my expectations to be 38LPA Later came to know, they pay much more. Have cleared all the interviews, how can I negotiate for more salary? Current compensation - 27LPA Yoe - 6.5 Role: Senior frontend engineer

I had quoted a ctc, they have agreed with that ctc but now I think it's quite low (17.5 lpa fixed for 2.5 yoe). It's a startup. How do I negotiate it to more. They want me to accept offer letter asap. I am in the process of interviewing a couple of more companies where I hope to get around 22 lpa fixed. Should I accept it and then say no few days later?

The company I used to work for recently shut down and I just received my first offer from a sizeable unicorn. I am being massively low-balled (20% cut). And on top of it, it's an exploding offer. I have a couple of interviews lined up (they start after May 28th) but at the moment, this is the only offer I have. What should I do? 1. Hard negotiate? What is a reasonable ask while negotiating with startups? Should I ask for a match or hike of X% over my TC/annum (52lk Base + 8lk Bonus + Rs30lk RSUs), or should I negotiate only over the Cash (Base + Bonus) component? A startup I’m negotiating with is not considering the RSUs I have and is offering a 8% hike only on the cash component, and is throwing in ESOPs (paper money) instead. What do I do?

I just joined a company and it's been only 2 weeks. When I accepted the offer there was another interview in pipeline and some delay was going. The result came and now I am confused what to do. Startup (current company) TC : 27+2 (base+pf) New Offer from a big firm: 31.5+3.15+1.51+45kUSD(Base+target bonus+pf+stocks 4yrs) = 43.87LPA Annual CTC It's not easy as it seems. The startup (curr company) has great culture and tech stack. The product is exciting. It is part of a larger parent company. Whereas the big firm (new offer) works on a Monolith and work mostly uses Java. Codebase is 20yrs old according to Hiring manager. And one more thing - I hate Java. Why the difference has to be so big in TC 😭 I don't like to be confused. Have you ever been in such a situation? I want to relate my situation. YoE : 2

Hey folks, Today was the date of Onboarding for my new job. For the past few weeks, I have given interviews and negotiated with two companies. The later company only matched the first offer so I naturally went with the first one. Now, on the date of Onboarding, they called me and increased the offer which is making the same interesting. I have not been given any company's assets on my day 1 today. Can I still make the switch now ? Also need your advice on whether I should switch ? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone recently got job offer. And here is the what I'm getting. Is it good. Job role : SDE1 Tech stack : Nodejs, React, AWS, DevOps CCTC: 6.5 all fixed Offer CTC : 8 fixed + 4 L ESOP + 1 to 1.5 performance bonus Is it worth it. I will be getting another offer 8.5 fixed. How to negotiate for that. It's is first switch and I was laid off in Feb. I'm moderately good at problem solving and have LC : 1600+ CF : 1450+ Please share your view. I've recently got an offer from a Unicorn Startup, and they pay pretty well (My friends do work there) But I'm getting lowballed. They're offering only 50% of what they offer, and even after having so many calls, they're at max pushing it to 70%, which doesn't make sense to me. They are claiming my Current CTC & saying they can only offer a 30% hike. I don't even get that point. I think ur new CTC shouldn't be based on your previous especially if you are already paying so much to others. Getting less than what my juniors are earning in the same position, baffles me. How do I move forward? I've clearly said that I'm only interested in this amount of money. At the same time, I feel it's better than what I make right now (not much better tho, because WFH vs WFO) I'm okayishhh with the work I do, but the brand name is also a valid concern (I do have a few brand names in my Resume, and that does actually impact) How do I push more? I've clearly told them that this is what you pay & they accept it but constantly raise my Current CTC as their brahmastra. Also, I don't like the tone she's talking with (repeatitvely making me feel inferior about current CTC & my less exp & all), nor do I want to lose my temperament Also one question, they've asked me for the Offer letter, and I have stupidly handed it to them. Is that a norm? What to do in that case next time? I already told them before interviewing how much base I'm expecting.. And they said it would depend on your interviews (where I'm a strong hire) & CTC. And now they're behaving weirdly. What to do!

I received 2 offers recently, for context I'm graduating this year- 1 - a PPO for an early stage startup I have been interning for. TC - 10 base + share of revenue generated. Essentially it is a founders office role, but will be closing sales too. Good culture, profitable. 2- Browserstack for SDET role, TC - 11 base + 5 performance pay+bonus. Conflict is - should I choose the startup due to its potential high returns and my preference for the founders office role or BS for stable income and brand value ?
