On a serious note: Why do HR’s ghost candidates despite several rounds of interview and follow-ups?
I am new to the work force, 1.5 YOE. I want to understand the logic behind HR’s ghosting their candidates.
If there are 10 roles then they interviewed way more than 10 people, and you will only get a call back if you fit in their budget.
Expecting an acknowledgement back is normal right? Why can't they say that you're not selected because of X or Y instead of ghosting? Seems like basic communication
From small firm to MNC all the HR always does that. Why can't they send an automated rejection email to everyone rejected. We now have AI to create rejection emails. This will also increase the brand name too I believe.
