Can I work as a consultant in a different domain while I'm with another company?

Will consulting have implications if my employer figures out? Also how can my company figure out that I am consulting? Can they check PAN Card details? I’m guessing this is different from moonlighting since I’m not employed at two places. It’s just that I’m consulting 

What's the smart way to go about this? Should I use a different bank account or something?

P.S : The consulting work is in a different domain but mainly just for one company.

"75% withdrawal after one month of unemployment and the remaining 25% withdrawal after 2 months" is incorrect. There is false information everywhere.
Because of this incorrect information, I cannot withdraw again due to unemployment.
I withdrew some PF amount after 1 month of unemployment.
Now I cannot withdraw after 2 months since it says only one claim is allowed for one establishment.

I am expecting an offer letter from a company based outside India. They are quoting their salary figures in USD. 
I wanted to get an idea from the members of this group about the things to keep in mind while being paid in USD.
How much would I have to pay in conversion fees? Or does the employer typically take care of that?

I would need to provide them with invoices every month, for which they will pay me. So I have to take care of the tax on my own.

Does this mean that PF is not an option or can I deposit PF myself somehow?

What other kind of issues should I keep in mind?

In may22, i get a message from PF that they are auto transferring my previous pf balance to new pf account. However, i now realised that my amount had been deducted from prev account but never credited to new account. Can anyone please help?
