Please Help Me

Planning to switch from strategic account management role which is purely digital marketing operations and started to develop an interest in product marketing roles. Has anyone tried this transition??

I have been actively applying for marketing jobs, the situation seems very dismal. Packages are pretty low, companies are not ready to pay above 12 lpa. Without an MBA, you will suffer. With an MBA, you will suffer but will have a loan to make life worse. What to do in the next one year to earn more than 30 lakhs

Hello all, I'm a software engineer at one of the service based companies and I graduated last yr. Though I always knew software engineering isn't for me, I still gave it a try hoping my perspective would change when I enter the industry. Bummer! I hate it even more What I have realised is I don't like to code or spend all day finding a solution to an error. Not to say I don't like problem solving but I simply don't like the problem solving that is required for a great software engineer. I have been a content writer in the past and enjoyed it. I also helped a small digital marketing agency launch a campaign for a product. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of coming up with ideas that suit the tone of the brand, writing copies and much more. I'm thinking of switching to a marketing role or anything that aligns with what I have mentioned above. My question to you are: 1) Is it even possible to switch without an MBA? 2) If so, What should be my approach to applying to jobs? (Kindly tell me the specific and not just -' Make a stellar resume and apply ' kind of a vague answer) 3) What other roles can I look into?

Can a non-engineer (me) become a product manager? If yes what are the steps?

Hey there I'm a fresher i have just started my job in as a performance marketer for a growth advertising agency. i like it but I wanna develop all round marketing skills and not just stick to paid ads, would like to switch into a growth management role later. What are certain HARD SKILLS for required in growth roles ( like SEO, advance excel etc) which i should learn and feel free to recommend resources as well! Any other suggestions is also welcomed!

Hey all, I'm seeking some advice and guidance from this amazing community. I'm currently at a crossroads in my career and would appreciate any insights from those who have been in a similar situation. For the past 12 years multiple domains like Business, Digital marketing, Ui Ux & digital transformation, lastly 1.5yrs back I had the opportunity to become a founder of a startup where I handled both product and marketing. Unfortunately, that venture didn't find PMF, but I gained valuable experience in the process. Now, I'm considering whether to pursue a career as a product manager or product marketer. Also i didn't borrow any salary from the startup will it have any negative effects & how to mitigate them? Lastly based on the above background what would be the ideal package to go for?

I am thinking to move from my current role (operations, a combo of things) to more niche. I am evaluating taking this switch, honing my skills specifically to B2B marketing. (I feel B2C marketing is getting overcrowded) I have an experience of about 10 years across different startups, and I know a fair essence of organic marketing and brand building. What would be a logical salary if I move into a head of marketing role, in B2B startups?

How difficult is it to get into Product Marketing? Is the role fun or monotonous? Asking cause I want to understand how to transition into this role.
