Preparing for SDE-2 at a product based company 👨‍💻

What all things do I need to learn to prepare for a SDE-2 role with a salary greater than 17LPA as a Java Developer?

SDE 2 interviews vary quite a lot from company to company and so it confuses me on what to focus on, can senior folks please guide? What should be prior order between these and what are helpful resources you came across: - HLD - LLD - DSA - WEB DEV OR CORE ENGINEERING SKILLS And will my personal projects matter for sde 2 roles?

Currently working as SDE 1 and looking for SDE-1 opportunities only. Asking what kind of things they ask us in interviews? And how much they dive into them? Like DSA is important. Except that what should I start preparing on? Do companies really ask System design? If yes What they ask lld or hld?

Hi community, I am starting to prepare to switch to another company. There are a lot of roadmaps to follow. I'm looking for an SDE role. Can you people put there Suggest what all topics to prepare for and some good platforms.

Planning to start prepration for switching to other companies for SDE2, have around 3 yrs of experience now totally. What should I focus on more? I am pretty okay in DSA, but still will start from scratch. Any resources or roadmap that can help for SDE2 roles in companies like Microsoft, Google, Walmart or Atlassian, etc. Current compensation is 20lpa, looking for around 35lpa in switch. Any resources or roadmap or your experience will be very helpful, thanks. P.S. - Will be switching next year after appraisal, just gonna start preparing now.

As a Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience, can you guys please guide me on preparation for DSA. Consider my current knowledge about DSA 0. How should I start? Approx how much time it will take? How should I know what topics are more frequently asked at my level? Any DSA plan for 0 to hero in DSA? Apart from DSA I’m also preparing for HLD and LLD and I’d love to have recommendations from you folks about how to prepare these and where to prepare these from? Hi, I'm a software engineer with close to 6 YOE. This is my second company and I feel pretty stagnant here working for 3 years and see no growth. I've started preparing. Is DSA still being asked in the interviews even for people with experience ? How many rounds are there usually and what is being tested? Your advice would be very much appreciated :)

Wondering how much does not knowing DSA and lack of practice of LC hurt your chances of getting hired ? For context I am an sde with 1 yoe from tier 1 college been out of touch with dsa for over 1.5 yrs and I am planning on making my first job switch, I believe I know my job very well and am good at what I do better than most of the people around me but just out of touch with dsa.
