Psychology degree for Product Management
Heyy, I have an undergrad engineering degree in mathematics and computing and I've always wanted to study psychology.
I feel studying psychology - the consumer side of it would make me a better PM by helping understand people(not users).
Do y'all think having a degree in engineering+psych would make me a good PM?

I want a degree my man, like proper classes and peers and profs nd stuff. Cohorts are nice for career building, but I want to do this for myself
I don’t think traditional psychology will be helpful in anyway for your pm career

Psychology will go good for designing a user centric product . But the need of degree can be a debatable . Bcoz there is lot of psychology courses designed for PMs . Just dig some research and decide on it buddy

I'm worried that it's very niche. But at the same time I've always had a desire to study psychology.
But i also don't want to end up unemployed or not get the kind of money I'll invest in my education 😭

An undergrad degree might not be the best option for what you're considering. My undergrad didn't teach me anything about being a manager.
There are consumer psychology and behavioral science short-term courses/diploma that may interest you. Check NPTEL, IIM.
