Question on background verification
In my BGV process it was found that I was a junior DS in one of the previous orgs. In my resume I mentioned it as just DS, without the 'junior'. The HR has informed this has come up as a red flag from the BGV company. This is weird. Has this ever happened to anyone and will this lead to termination? If yes, do they also ask to pay back the salaries? I have already worked for 3 months here.
HR in new company is hyping it up, talk to your HM, shouldn’t be a big deal.
HM laughed it off saying this bgv companies are full of shit. It's the stupid HR I am worried about.
Your HM must be naive, it’s the hiring company’s policy which they give to BGV for flagging/ignore. S/he should connect with HR to handle it early before it bubbles up.
