Hi, I am applying for a new position as react developer in a company at Mumbai. I have an experience of 4+ years in react.js. So how much should be my expected salary. I'm getting 5.4lpa now, I know which is really low.

You'll get everything in Mumbai. Literally everything. It's a proper tier 1 city. People say it's expensive. But it depends where you're located in Mumbai. It's huge. You can get a 1 bhk flat for 10k rent at the outskirts

Also to add here, there are a lot of startups emerging in mumbai ..you should definitely check on linkedin and list of startups in mumbai ...you will definitely fit their budget criteria as you have crossed the 4 year mark and they will be willing to pay as per your expectations..

With your given experience, i believe you happen to be from a service based company ... If you are switching to a product company your expected salary should be anywhere between 9 to 10 lacs
And if you are applying in a service based you can quote an amount of 8to 9 lacs

I quoted a higher number for product based companies beacuse they tend to have a higher budget compared to other service based orgs
