Received another offer after joining a company a week ago

Context- I recently joined X a week ago and I got a offer from Y today. I interviewed with Y a few days before joining X and told them that I will need a answer fast but they didn’t get back to me on time. They called me last week to tell me that they would like to move forward with me and rolled out an offer today. Should I leave my current company as they Y has come up with a better offer and APM role, whereas X has a lower offer (not too big of a difference) and Senior Product Analyst role. This is my first full time job, so I am confused on what to do and what could be the consequences

Dont think about the company, they won't think about you if they get a better candidate. Join whichever pays more and have a better long term prospect.

There isn’t much difference, 1 LPA difference in base, I am not sure about the company. Anyone know anything about Survey2Connect?

I was in a similar situation last year. I think go with the company with better role and learning opportunities rather than looking only at money and the APM tag.

APM role is nice and all but you might not learn any core skill here as it is a generalist role especially when you are a fresher.

In the Analyst role that you are mentioning, you might learn a lot and after 1-1.5 years you can anyways switch to a product role where you will be able to add more value.

Anyways, if you decide to leave the current company on such a short time span, you need to talk to HR and your manager as soon as possible as they might start some payroll, insurance and other processes after which it might get complicated..

This is actually a good advice, working as an analyst for 1 year will give you data chops and will become one of your core strengths later in product management. If pay is similar no harm is working as an analyst for a year.
